He has risen — in the polls.
Has ScoMo ascended in preferred Prime Minister polls, or has Bill Shorten just deflated his inflatable floppy man?
Fearmongers this week: Lewis Hobba, (Triple J) Chris Urquhart, (Immediate Communications), Alison Piotrowski (A Current Affair) and host Dan Ilic (Romper Room) wade into the deep end of #Watergate with Michel West (MichaelWest.com.au). We drink whatever Barnaby’s been drinking and Comedian Michael Hing (One Asian Party) fills us in on how preferences could see him become an Australian Senator for the One Asian Party. Listen in your email browser or iTunes, Google Podcasts, PocketCasts:
Barnaby’s 28 Minutes of Plausible Deniability
You can only rely on plausible deniability only if the the denial is plausible. You can’t say for instance that you don’t know who urinated on the rug when you’re the only one that’s been home the entire day on your own, and you definitely can’t say that you don’t know who bought $80 million worth of water if you are the Agriculture Minister. If you missed Barnaby Joyce’s interview with Patricia Karvelas on PM on monday; I listened to it for you and wrote a literal transcript of the entire thing:
PAID PROMOTION: ONE ASIAN PARTY:
Praise Photo-ops
ScoMo is a little upset at people making fun of his Easter photo opportunity saying “These grubs are gutless and keyboard warriors in their mother’s basement trying to make heroes of themselves.” There are two things wrong with this:
Firstly, if these hypothetical keyboard warriors are in their mother’s basements it’s because of house affordability crisis that the Coalition has let happen under their watch.
Secondly, the basement I live in is not owned by Mum.
