It’s been a week since we’ve returned from the front and still I can smell the burning flesh of Chicken Gyros. In my dreams I’m unable to move for my feet are not only stuck in mud, but my face is being assaulted by conversations with former colleagues who insist on trying to get them behind the wire to the VIP bar.

As the late DJ Wilfred Owen would have written:

What passing-bells for these who travel to the Tipi Forrest as cattle?
— Only the monstrous anger of the the bus queues.
Only the stuttering Mix Up Stage rapid rattle
Can patter out their muddy and complaining muses …

My fiends, it was hell, but extremely fun.

After a long 9 year hiatus, A Rational Fear was lucky enough to be invited back to perform live on stage at Splendour In The Grass. We had a blast. It was so good to see so many familiar faces at The Forum, and perform with the folks in the Science Tent.
