Planet Earth: The season finale (Spoiler: we're f***ed)
🎧 NEW PODCAST: Nat Damena, Marty Smiley, Lewis Hobba, Dan Ilic
G’day Fearmongers,
The IPCC report came out this week and it gave the Earth and A+ for self-immolation. When asked about it, our leaders pleaded ignorance, and demanded to know what it was going to cost to stop emissions as if they just bought a used car off Gumtree with an oil leak. But this Government has been driving this car for the last decade and it’s been blowing smoke ever since they got the keys.
Next election make sure your 1️⃣ goes to someone with climate action at the centre of their policy, because we can’t afford another ten years of coal expansion, gas plants and car parks for train stations that don’t exist.
ON THE PODCAST THIS WEEK:
Guest fearmongers on the podcast this week include comedian Nat Damena & the Lebanesse-Australian Louis Theroux, Marty Smiley. These two have a great podcast, Housewarming, where they interview other funny folks about the perils of living in a share-house. On A Rational Fear this week we cover:
IPCC Report
Young Liberals Auctioning off Coal
George Christensen's New Website
Brad Hazzard's "Other Backgrounds"
Lockdown Etiquette

A RATIONAL GEAR:
At our RedBubble store you can shop some satirical and sartorial lewks, or maybe you just need a pillow to scream into on your 100th day of lockdown.
To commemorate John Barilaro’s attack on free speech and satire we have done a collab with Brisbane artist Nordacious and have created what we suspect will be a very limited edition series of merchandise. Pick up a t-shirt / sticker or hoodie before we have to take it down.
