There’s only 7 days left to vote — when you go to pre-polling the AEC will ask you if you have a valid reason as to why you can’t vote on the 21st of May — I’ve got some suggestions for you:
Yes, for me voting is like holding a piss, If I wait any longer my vote will dribble out of me at my 10am stand up meeting and I be standing in a puddle of my own democracy manifest.
Yes, there is a mad man running the country expanding fossil fuel projects and he must be stopped as quickly as possible.
Yes, I’ll be out of town — country — New Zealand to be precise, I’ve bought a farm there and if the coalition gets in you’ll never see me again.
Those are the only three acceptable reasons to vote early.
