Help us pull a BIG prank in Glasgow!
COP26 is coming up in 1 month and Dan Ilic needs your help.
Today is the day!
We’re launching a brand new crowdfunding campaign in the name of satire (and climate action). Help me erect 3 comedy billboards in Glasgow for COP26, the UN Climate Change Conference, to help Australia tell the truth about its own climate change record.
We’ve already got 2 billboards designed, and the 3rd billboard will be co-created with one lucky comedy philanthropist who can help fund the prank.
The Koala one is very special — big thanks to Nordacious for coming on board.
These billboards are going to be expensive: $12225, but they’re really funny, and should exist. That’s why I need your help.
You don’t leave empty handed — we’ve got some great rewards.
$150 Reward: Sticker Pack.
3 x Net-0 by 2300 stickers
3 x Cuddle A Koala (Before we make them extinct) stickers
3 x Mystery billboard yet to be designed by our comedy philanthropist.
These are rare — very valuable stickers. Think of them as IRL NFTs.
$500 Reward: Get YOUR name on the billboard.
For a donation of $500 or more, not only do you get a sticker pack, but we’ll put your name on the border of the billboard! Sure, it’ll be pretty small and you won’t really be able to make it out unsell you put down that deep fried Mars bar and your macaroni pie and really stare.
This is perfect if your the owner of extractive industries company, just think of it as guilt-offset.
$4000 Reward: Co-create the billboard.
Not only do you get a sticker pack, and we’ll put your name on the border of the billboard, but you can decided what goes on the 3rd billboard. It could be anything.
“I went to Glasgow and all I got was Kyoto credits”
“See the Great Barrier Reef before we kill it.”
“Australia: where for the cost of this billboard can buy you a politician”
— it’s a billboard, you can do anything (within reason).
So that’s it.
Please head on over to the Indiegogo page and more importantly tell your friends about this hilarious opportunity, it’s the safest way to cause trouble in the streets of Glasgow.
If you enjoy our podcast, emails and important climate change conversations, chip in here like a good sovereign citizen. We want to raise enough money so we can start to make a high quality video each month – to fight the good fight. As the Australian election is coming up very soon, it’d be great to make more #AusPol LOLS and investigations. www.patreon.com/arationalfear
