G’day Fearmongers,
Konrad from Punters Politics has had enough of being cut out of the lobbying game so he's raising money to join them.
He wants to be the punters' lobbyist on the hill!
Lewis and I take it upon ourselves to grill him to make sure he has the chops to represent us in Canberra.
Hear about his plans for a big fundraiser dinner, and how it plans to get the big political names in the room with regular punters.
To chip in to help Konrad wield influence in Canberra — you can donate anonymous black money through his Chuffed page here: https://chuffed.org/project/134297-fund-australias-first-punter-powered-lobbyist
Cheers
Dan

You said Chris Bowen is your guest next week, so please ask him this:
As Saul Griffith has recently pointed out, the major problem in growing renewable energy in Australia is distribution, so why isn’t his government taking steps to facilitate solar on apartment roofs? eg I own a typical early 21st century (therefore with gas heating + cooking) apartment. It has roofs ideal for solar – but the cost of upgrading to solar and eliminating gas is prohibitive. It might be a good long-term investment for resident owners, but most of the owners are investors. They don’t spend money unless it is legally necessary. This is true of most apartment developments. All those roofs, all over the big cities, all that sunshine going to waste….
